Lifeview operates four person-centred residential aged care homes across Melbourne. Like most care providers, their days run on precise and sensitive documentation: resident records, care plans, compliance filings, and the everyday materials that keep four facilities running like clockwork.
The project:
The Xerox machines that had served Lifeview well for years had finally reached the end of their working life. As equipment failures became more frequent, the impact rippled through their operations. Printing residents’ paperwork had stalled, scanning and filing important documentation backed up, and compliance paperwork couldn’t be processed in a timely manner.
When they approached Copysonic, their bottom line was equipment that would perform reliably across all four homes, without unnecessary complexity or features beyond their requirements.
The challenge: The admin team preferred equipment that was reliable and simple, without paying for features they wouldn't use, like cloud printing, AI intuition, and advanced touchscreen interfaces.
Rather than replacing everything at once across all four homes, Copysonic recommended their signature phased approach. The rollout started with two Kyocera 2554ci units at their primary location. This allowed the team to get comfortable with the new system and workflow before expanding to the remaining homes. Once that was established, two newer Kyocera MZ2501ci models were installed across the other three facilities.
