The client:

Howitt Partners Mortgage & Finance is a financial brokering firm that runs on paperwork. Every workday, their team prints and scans loan applications, legal agreements, compliance records, and financial statements, often at short notice and always with pinpoint accuracy. For a business like this, reliable printing and scanning are a big part of getting deals across the line. 

The project:

The relationship between Copysonic and Howitt Partners spans over nine years and several upgrades. It started in February 2017 with a single machine, bought outright, and they’ve trusted us with printer service and support ever since. 

As a busy mortgage brokerage, their work demands time-sensitive, accurate paperwork, and as a small business, Howitt Partners needed equipment and support they could count on. 

In the early days, they were purchasing their machines outright. That meant running each device for as long as it would last and bearing the cost and frustration when it started to age. They didn’t necessarily know there was an approach better suited to their business.

We proposed a lease arrangement with all service inclusions, so they could budget consistently and update their device regularly without running the risks that may come with an ageing machine. 

Leasing also meant Howitt Partners could pay for their device in smaller monthly instalments, with the option to update it at the end of their nominated term. Once they’d seen the benefits, they were happy to stick with the arrangement, updating their devices twice more over the years that followed.

These days, we refresh their device every three years, which keeps their monthly costs predictable and means they’re always working with current, dependable technology. On the off chance there is a hiccup with a machine, we’re on the phone or on-site quickly to keep things moving.
